    I hope not.

They could become a very strong and positive club if they tackle this well.

Own the incident, work out what went wrong and why. don't just hit individuals, systemic faults are often the cause in organisations. Off loading blame on scapegoats without correcting underlieing problems just sets the club up for a repeat

Honestly I think their apology is worthless and the club as a whole should be ashamed. I'll tell you why? There are some things that shouldnt happen in the first place. Number 1....30 people setting up around a tent....Number 2......dousing somebodies fire that was obviously going to be used...........Number 3...Boasting and acknowledging it on your own site, and re editing the content once known outsiders were logging into it.

The sorry is worthless as many sorries are...why...cause it shouldnt happen in the first place. Out of 30 people ( and it seemed there were a few) should have had the decency to say "Oi should we be set up here" etc etc. Also FFS can we lose the typical it must be Toyota/Nissan types that are these peoples, that has nothing to do with it. No offence but being on this site I definately know there are landy drivers I wouldnt want to go camping with and most likely vis a vis. These were fellow 4WDers at a campsite who plainly and knowingly did the wrong thing.

Come on Stevo the Toyota driver bit was tongue in cheek, relating to the video. I have many friends with Toyotas and Nissans and go camping with them all the time. If that bit upset you there is something drastically wrong. Nothing more than good humoured sledging that goes on in most posts. Did we get out of bed on the wrong side this morning??
There are probablly many on here that would not want to go camping with you either. That does not make them irresponsible or bad people. Text often does not convey sentiment properly.
As LR drivers it is our sworn duty to bag Toyota drivers.

Typical TD's (Toyota dickheads), bunch of egostistical boofheads . Glad LR owners don't attract those sort of tossers and that's why I don't like mixed 4WD clubs, they tend to recruit morons like that.

Ok, yes, I did write before I had breakfast and can be a bit cranky...I was actually referring to Trav's comments, as that wasnt tongue in cheek, though it could have been anyone's, as quite a few hold the same sort of thinking. I should have quoted it so as not to confuse.

I couldnt understand why you responded to my comments until I read back and saw your comment, that didnt worry me as obviously tongue in cheek. Its not meant to be offence to Trav, as other people hold the same view, but to be honest I get sick of the whole " I drive a LR and everyone else is a knob" just like it ticks me off when I read " I drive a Toyota/Nissan and LRs are unreliable, crap, POS, etc etc. Its a constant in this forum about other makes and a constant in other mixed forums about LR's generally eminatting from people with no clue or substance to what they are saying aside from their own opinion. Also I did say there are probably people who wouldnt want to camp with the likes of me, hence the point of my thread in the first place. So maybe you can see why in this instance, that I not so much got upset, but just ticked off.
