believe me, it will be well suited to that place. :-)

MMAL tried to use the American Galant as their 380. Dismal failure! Just like the American one and really suited to retired people and younger ones that wear cardigans :-)

It was also popular in the gay community, not so mucho like the Holden....

The Philippines - the same place the Gates Rubber factory from Nowra was packed up and shipped to. None of the rubber hoses in so-called Australian cars are manufactured in Australia these days.

On ABC radio this morning, the interviewer accepted comments made by the Mitsubishi rep she was interviewing that the 380 was basically a good car but the Aust public just hadn't taken to it. She said, "So the 380 is really a good car, it's not another P76 then?" As if there was something seriously wrong with the P76.

If the opinions of member of this forum are anything to go by, the 380 actually has a lot in common with the P76. In fact the similarities are probably greater than the differences.
Aren't both basically good cars released at the wrong time, handicapped by the loss of reputation caused either by problems with previous models or early teething problems, and killed off by economic decisions made by the parent company?

Seems exactly the same to me.

Yep! both depreciate a hell of a lot from new

makes both of 'em not too too bad for the buyer ...

IAW if a person cope with the downsides they actually get a lot of vehicle for their buck$ in either case
