    Cascade brewery tour. I've been to Hobart twice in the last few years, and missed out on the tour and tasting BOTH TIMES . I think kids can go, but 3yo might be a bit young...

    I read somewhere that Hobart is the most expensive city for living costs Australia wide. Can't figure out why
    Is it true?
    If so, why??

    Food and fuel are more expensive down here which contributes a lot, although housing is cheaper.

    For petrol and food it would be up there. Rent/mortgage not so much though.

    There are the thermal pools down in Hastings (Hastings Cave) you also have the Air Walk in Tahune ( well worth doing )


    And yes housing is cheap in tassie my folks just bought in Invermay just around the corner from Boags for only 270k (4x2 plus workshop)
