In order my main cars...
1968 S11A Swb - Not too bad. few breakages but mainly my fault
1991 - Peugeot 205 1.9gti - Pretty much faultless over my ownership adn my brothers subsequently - probably 60k miles.
Peugeot 205 GTI 1986 - Very good, burst hose once and gear linkage.. remarkable as it was my work hack, I track dayed it and did about 50k miles in 2 years tharashing it mercilessly!
1993 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo - converted to a race car by me - nearly 400bhp. Amazingly reliable but I rebuilt it every season!
2001 Caterham Superlight R - Race car. Hardly used it and it broke once. Clutch operating fork snapped. 267bhp at 10k rpm! adn 500kgs
Peugeot 205 GTI 1989 - again very good....
2001 Defender 90 TD5 - We have had some* problems
1994 Range Rover Vogue SE Air sprung. - only one issue. new pressure sensor on air tank. very good.
Other cars in the family included an Alfa Romeo 147gta - brand new - no issues at all in 18k miles. (great car)
vectra 1.8 16v - amazing... 220k miles now and still going. only had a head gasket and the throttle potentiometer
300 tdi Disco 1 - Very good again. HEad gasket and couple or water pumps
1982 Range Rover classic. amazingly good. Only issue since we had it was a tight gear change on the auto and a broken choke cable.

ps.. by some* I mean lots... but mainly they were down to a screw holding the dash on being screwed through the throttle loom... Killed the throttle every time you drove through water.. try finding that with a diagnostics computer

Definately most reliable,
1987 Toyota Camry wagon, had it for 200,000kms, had it offroad (tracks my FL wouldnt enjoy), gave it a flogging, crashed it, drowned it (hydraulic lock), everything. All for the cost of WD40 and oil. Bought it for $350 from an insurance company, sold it for $100 ( at 300,000kms).

Wow some of you have held cars with a huge amount of km's on it. Most Ive gotten to is around 140,000. Don't know if I have been lucky or not but have always had reliable cars. Had quite a few Commodores, from VC to VS, 3 Fords, an AU, current BA XR6 and Territory. At the time a new Merc C180, great handling and ride just not much poke under the bonnet, the D3 had a few warranty issues but never let me down and yet to see with the TD5. Have never owned a jap car, never been my cuppa tea,
