For what he would get if he parted out the pootrol he could buy a pretty good Rangie and fix the county and then your both back on track.

I dare say, it'll go as a write off

Look on the bright side, get payed out, buy the wreck back for nicks and build another rover

Hopefully not the end of another Landy.
Chin up mate,if they do look like writing it off ask to settle with them and re-build yourself.
Panel shops dont like pulling landys apart and putting them together again, just too hard when there is an endless supply of simple dunnydoore/falcoon repair work to be had.AND THEY CHARGE LIKE HELL IF THEY HAVE TO FIX EM,pushes the poor old Landys into write-off land!!!!
    GOODLUCK

IVe just had a look through the rules and it appears that any 4bd1 isuzu engined rovers that sustain any damage to the rear lights and scratching of the paint work (it would appear that you meet the critera) must be disposed..

I'll take it off your hands for a carton in return for the favor for you not to reporting it....

ahh, but you didn't read it in conjunction with section 13.9.1 subclause(f)(iii) which states that it MUST be disposed of to the southern most state, being Tasmania.

We would be happy to give it a new home it will fit in down here with a few bruises
