Is it the drivers bending the rules or the teams they were with at the time yanking on the rule book ?
Great driver ?
Only the car slowing him down ?
doesn't have what it takes ?
Another season or 2 and he'll be up in the top 5 ?
don't be sorry mate, I wasn't having a go at you, having different opinions is a good thing !
I am slightly biased, well very biased favouring english drivers !!
Hamilton has done well, he's had the backing but he's also had the added pressure of having to perform even before he got into F1.
With regards to Schu... he's a very good driver but the way he bends the rules and gets away with things puts him up there with Senna and Prost. That's not supposed to be a compliment![]()

I'm so glad the got rid of the traction control this season ...... next they should get rid of the pit guys being able to tune the engine while it's racing . I thought the idea was to have the best and most reliable car to win the race .... it's all a computer race now ...... let the drivers sort it out i say![]()
they no longer have pit to car telemetry/tuning. the team do monitor a lot of data and can instruct the driver to change settings, but at least it's not completely a computer game.
I agree, he is a brillant driver and doesn't need to resort to that sort of stuff.
But I will say one thing about him, a magazine wanted to publish an article which showed an incident where he came out looking bad, they needed to ask his permission first before publishing and he came back right away saying they could publish it. I think that says something about his character, its just a shame we don't see it on the track.
