Sync swimming and a handful of other "sports".....please!!!!!

I lost interest in the olympics when the athletes became professionals. How do the poor buggars from African, Asian, European & South American countries compete against the big medal factories like us who throw millions of dollars at our athletes to gain glory for them and a slight feel good effect for us.
Never mind the fact that kids are dying of preventable diseases in remote and even not so remote communities in this country.
Never mind the poor state of our roads and education etc.etc.

    We are winning gold medals!!!!!!!!!
Ibet top rugby players and football players get ALOT more money than an athlete!!!! aren't they just sports that say look atr us we are better than you as well? Lets ban all sports..........only joking i love playing some sports
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

I dunno, surely you have to admire someone who is prepared to look that ridiculous in public with a fixed smile and a peg on their nose. Most of us wouldn't be game enough to look that silly.

I'm sure they spend a lot of time training together. Most of us wouldn't do that either. We have too many useful things to do.

So they are brave and dedicated and can hold their breath for a long time, but I still can't see it as a sport.

Mercifully I have been able to avoid it completely this time around. The last couple of times I was caught unawares and was subjected to several seconds of it before I was able to get up and change the channel.
