The Queensport at Hemmant. I think it is in Gosport St. or Canberra St. Great old style pub. The Colmslie at cnr. Wynnum & Junction Rds. Morningside. Used to be a bloodhouse but has been renovated and civilized. Fisher's Wynnum Hotel at Fox St. Wynnum. The Carindale and the Camp Hill, both are close to a Gateway Motorway exit.

The Glenn at Height Mile Plains on Logan Rd near the intersection of the M1 and the gateway is very nice. They do really nice woodfired pizzas too.

There's the pub on Nudgee Rd not far from the Shell Servo at Nudgee.

If, as I suspect, it's for a Thurs Night then Southside would be best to avoid paying toll for most people. I think Tingalpa or Carindale would be the most convenient and if you need to feed 20 or so people then Carindale would be better set up for that.

However I have never been to Tingalpa and have not been to Carindale since 1986.

It's changed a lot, we have electricity and occasionally running water around here now.
