    So lets look at causes....

So in the beginning, I was having problems, Not going to lie about it, didn't lie about it and I did my bit and told everybody who needed to know and anyone who didnt but was foolish enough to ask, know what? It hurt. Lots, But I did it because I knew I wasnt going to make it through without some pretty major help.

So I asked.. and I got a lot of things offered I did a lot of accepting that help then waiting for it to never eventuate or for it to be delivered too late to be of practicle use

And we know that I asked because in no small part.. I was directed into that help....

So what were the issues, to start with, My divorce, the legal battle I was having trying to get a tennant evicted out of my Townsville house and the financial issues that were being caused because of all of that, Throw in some custody battle stuff and the fact that every single item I owned that I used for stress relief got utterly wrecked by toll during my move and its a perfect recipe for a very very unhappy me.

This ones going to take a major edit... The computers having problems.... so place save while I sort out the laptop....

    Ok so heres the edit....

WE know that I was raising my issues with the Chain of command and we know that it was happeneing very very early in the piece because theres emails directing that I have to goto the Padre... as early as February
    Issues known 5 Feb.pdf

There was a lot of offers of support and there were some things being mishandled that needed to be handled better and I know what these things were and I know that I was sending the info up range because I kept a list, theres a cut and paste of the original list in this email to the chain of command from much later when I'm trying to save my carreer.
RE Document search for Termination Decision appeal. SECUNOFFICIAL.txt

And we also know that they got them and they knew there were investigations to be done because its effectively said in the second IWB very specifically you're looking for the paragraph at 1527.

    IWB II 25 Nov 2015.pdf

And now lets look at the typical end result ....

    RE Advice From legal. SECUNOFFICIAL.txt

    One conversation, nothing recorded.

Now it took me until about late may or early june to sort out all of my issues, the legal stuff with getting the druggie out of my house, getting my finances back on an even keel and the divorce, the initial source issues were resolved with very little support being provided, still left a couple of biggies and the biggest of them all was the fact that I was not permitted to work, they were keeping the restrictions in place. You're looking for around 1600 in the IWB document...

Heres the kicker. I knew it was the issue, DCO and VVCS weren't able to intervene, and medical? They kept me going to the same doc and honestly it was driving me psychotic no matter what I tried to get my point across that the fatique, the sleep issues and the mood swings were symptoms of a cause and the cause was that I wasnt able to do any work It was always refuted to me that I was wrong, The fatique, the sleep issues and the mood swings were the cause that was behind me staying on restrictions, so I kept getting the same solution. Stay on the restrictions and predictably my condition got worse and it snowballed The external support agencies admitted they couldn't help in this situation but I kept on getting pushed back in their direction.

Want to see what happened when I got a new MO?
    160629 - ROG supporting minute - Fare 8235714.pdf
But of course by then, too late, I'm apparently suicidal and this balls rolling. Heres a kicker to this starting off with being all this admin stuff because I was potentially suicidal (IWB 1525), near the end of this when you get to the CAF level appeal, apparently the decision to discharge me wasnt based on me being suicidal.

And thats just the start of it...

I'll close up with this for this part.

Some of the advice I got was bad, horribly bad. I lost count of the number of times that I was told "Farey, its a medical discharge, you take it and you get compo, you'll get a pay out and a pension." Really really glad I never took that advice because when all the legal gobbldey gook came back that I couldnt understand because it looked nothing like anything that would help me with black smoke and sparks I called them up and asked for the dumb ass mechanic level explanation, here it is.

" You dont get compensation or pension because you do not have the condition you are being discharged for"

Data, Skew it, ignore it or just plain old never record it.

So I was discharged for mental issues right?

you'd expect that they would have had all of the relevant info when they looked into it yeah? well not so much,
no psych docs 26 feb 2016.pdf

you would also expect a certain standard of fact to be important in all of the information provided. check out the highlighted line
    pm518 Extract.pdf
now for those who dont know, AD049 is the driving authority for a task in a military vehicle.
    ad049.pdf
again, check out the highlighted line.

but lets look at the key document that could have made or broke it all way back near the beginning.

    24. WDR Oct 15.pdf
have a read and look down at the bit about my supervisors comments and how the person compiling that document had to rely on the reports of my supervisors

now lets look at my supervisors comments,
    Section Commanders observations SECUNCLASSIFIED.txt
    IWB I extract.pdf
    CPL Dave Fare SECUNCLASSIFIED.txt

now I know I'm biased because I'm the one who was fighting all of this mess but does anyone else see the differences between whats in the documents or am I delusional about it?

Yes - I see the differences you note. From the evidence you produce, I would not see you as delusional.

    Whats going on Dave?
If you are doing anything further to get some review or recompense then at this point it is a case of going straight to the appropriate federal minister and or the media I suppose.

It really is a broken system isnt it. But then when anything gets too burocratic it is essentially that - broken and irrational, illogical in its decision making.

    Hi,
    Crazy!
Yet I know a few who only transited through The Funny Country as crew on DC3 VIP flights and got full benefits.
    Cheers
