No idea what the Sooby is wearing. It's Elisabeth's car.
It was good to meet up with Jamo and Joan last night. Unfortunately, Elisabeth was confined to barracks after getting the trots. Today is my turn to be crook.
I reckon the only thing against the suby on the beach is the relatively low rolling diameter of the tyres.
The plus is the light weight.
Embarrasing thing was I went to Butty's with my neighbour (petrol Jackaroo). The suby went out and back, got stuck ones and a push and a few revs and she was unstuck.
12 months later went out to exactly the same place with same neighbour in my then new D3. Compressor failed!![]()

Hope you get some sand action & sights before you leave
We walked along the beach at Cape le Grand. Boy, it was firm sand but Elisabeth wouldn't let me driver her Soopby on the sand.
We are now in Albany for 5 days but I don't know if any AULRO members are around here. We've had dinner with some Two Wheels forum members but missed Mr. Smith (TW columnist) by half a day.

Welcome to the hell that is driving with the worst most ignorant and aggressive drivers there are in Oz Ron.
They'll sit and watch while you approach and because their thought processes are so slow, by the time they actually act on their decision to pull out it's too late and you're on them!
Indicators are only there to inform themselves that they've changed lanes or turned a corner but are mostly considered un-necessary.
I mean, what business is it of anyone else if you want to go round a corner or change lanes?
But don't advise them that you've recognised they are stupid by blowing the horn or flashing lights, that's a sure way to enrage them and they'll start swerving around whilst waving their fists at you!
Happy motoring.

Ron .... Drive Pro Active / Aggressive ... Like when you ride your bike
Trust no one, cause they are all busy talking on the phone
So true!
I'm driving like I did in Saudi Arabia!

WA drivers in the country don't seem to reverse park. They seem to drive into a parking spot and bounce over the gutter then down into the parking spot.
I haven't seen anyone reverse yet but many bounce over the gutters.
Close and parallel? What does that mean?
Stop signs? Pfft, drive straight through across the path of cars on your right.
Let people out of a parking spot? You've gotta be kidding! One might be delayed a few seconds.

Ron,
It is even worse when you get city drivers out in the country. Its that bad you sometimes consider handing your license in.
