    My old series 3 with a 3" exhaust tube snorkel, simple and strong, bends done at exhaust shop for $4 each.

    1995 Defender 110 300TDI :D
    1954 86" Series 1 Automatic :eek:
    Ex '66 109" flat deck, '82 109" 3 door, '89 110 CSW V8, '74 Range Rover, '66 88" soft top, '78 88" soft top, '95 Disco ES V8, '88 Surf, '90 Surf, '84 V8 Surf, '91 Vitara.

    update on snorkel...

    Finally i got in to finishing the pvc snorkel this week, its all done apart from a coat of paint which will come in the next few days

    Simple alloy mounting bracket..

    $32 snorkel head from knj trucks...shore beets $100 from tjm

    Great Job on the snorkel mate . Just make sure you rough up the surface a little if you want the paint to stick to the PVC . would look ugly if flakes of paint started coming off .

    Hi Tim,

    You said you were using 80mm OD tube?

    That snorkel head you bought, is that the 3.5" model? I understand that the standard sizes are 3" and 3.5", but I suspect that the ' 3.5" ' model actually has an internal diameter of 3.25" (or about 80mm).

    Can you confirm if you used a ' 3.5" ' head and that it fits 80mm pipe?

    Just trying to source parts for my own.
