On the 110, the inlet filter on the injection pump - inside the engine mount bracket, impossible to see and (almost) impossible to get at; and supposed to be checked every service.

The way my Disco dumps about a litre of water on my right leg if I get in/out when it's raining.

D2 SLS. I stil miss it, but I don't miss coming back to the car, usually in a very public place, to find it sitting on the bump stops.

Still, I find it interesting that there were many comments about how difficult LRs are to work on.
Sure, Series Landy's have their moments ( steering relay comes to mind ), but try changing a clutch on a FIAT 124 Sport.
Or simply the clutch cable. The last 'easy' car I worked on was a Datsun 1200.
Knowlege of a 'marque' helps. I remember seeing a bloke trying to change the sparkplugs on a Jensen Interceptor.
He'd been at it for about two hours, under the bonnet. It's impossible. I told him to put the thing up on the hoist.
Takes 10 minutes that way. Just a Chrysler V8 after all. From the top you'ld think it was a Ferrari.
I was gobsmacked when I learnt that the way to do the timing belt on a RR Sport
was to take the body off. Once I got over the shock it all made sense. Tell that to
a Toyota mech !
The D2 window switches.
After how many years I still fumble around with my left hand and still close the front when I want to open the back.
The rear door lock comes a close 2nd.
To me the worse bit it is that we become addict to them and keep buying more :D
