I would say the Land Rover bit.
for me it is the mongrel brake light switch on counties and series landies with them on the brake tower facing back towards the firewall where no mans hand has a ****s show in hell of fitting without disjointing a swag of fingers....
the arsewipe that devised this prime little piece of torment needs to be hung drawn and quatered while being simmered in oil.
i spent most of day trying to track down an intermittent fault with the brake lights and once again this pox ridden little switch was the crux of the problem.
nigh on impossible to get out in one piece after a few years just to add that extra bit of joy .... so i get to spend another hour or two trying to get the broken bit out before i can experience the joy of fitting a new one..

I reckon the worst is the drips of water that fall on your feet in a fender when it is raining heavy.
I hear ya inc. I hate the 2 top bolts on the bell housing in the disco when trying to get the gearbox out
. Not sure if you have to hold your tongue right or have small hands or what it is but it ticks me off everytime i have to take the box out . And i would prefer to keep the skin on the hands
.
The door lock mechanisms. They're crap on the D2 and they're even crapper on my Series II
