Hi V8, the link below will take you to one of the threads in the project section.
I installed some pop up handles in a lid but the same style is available as tie downs and you can source them from marine hardware suppliers.
Tie Downs
I posted in shopping trolley that i have purchased a new fridge. In the back of the Disco i need some tie down points and a new ciggie lighter socket as the old one is to close to the door and it hits the plug when closed. So i was wondering if you could let me know what sort of tie downs you all use and what sort of ciggie lighter type plugs you use. Any pics would be great. Here is a couple of pics of the back so you may be able to give me some ideas to use. Thanks in advance Brett

Tie Downs
For tie downs I was going to use those recessed ones with fold up rings but couldn't find any that weren't really expensive. So I bought some stainless rings with a threaded hole part (from a boat shop) and threaded the bolt in from underneath.
I plan on gluing/screwing a threaded plate under the panel and loctiting a thread rod into the ring so I can screw them in/out as need so I can have a flat floor when required.
This is on a raised false floor above my LPG tanks as well. Although my raised floor is bolted to the real floor.
Before I did this I just sat my fridge on the tank and strapped it to the tank mounts.
