I don't think I've shown my shed. This was finished in April I think.

17.5x7.5m 5 bay with 3mx2.65m(high) roller doors, 8 windows and a glass sliding access door. 3phase to the shed with 240v 15A and 10amp outlets, data and house pressured water. The aim was to have lots of light in the shed and to make it look like a house and not a shed and make it blend in a bit with the actual house. It was coloured the same as the house with Monument roller doors and roof, black windows and glass sliding access door, and Surfmist walls. A bit more roof area for the rainwater tank! The aim was to have all of the crap in the house garage and all of the crap sitting outside of the house to go into the shed so the house garage would be clean and empty to fit the daily drivers only and nothing was left outside so it didn't look like a hoarders house.

    During construction:

Finished shed and earthworks done. That north facing roof would be perfect for a hell of a lot of solar panels!

And filling the shed - there is a rolling County chassis that has gone in also where the mower is. The bay that I took the photo from is a workshop bay.

    Cheers

**** me Simon, that shed is a thing of beauty. The place is looking a bit different to that paddock we camped on all those years ago.

    Cheers,
    Jon

Hey Jon, mate you're right it has changed a lot since then, you'd hardly recognise it! Really happy with the way its all come together. If you're ever out this way again you won't have to camp! Bottle of Sangiovese under the alfresco looking over the valley or by the fireplace if its cold!

The shed was built where the ground drops off down the hill, so there was a huge amount of filling. I think it was about 100 truckloads or something like that. Fortunately a neighbour across the road was excavating a horse arena and happened to be using the same earthworks company - win for everybody!
    Cheers

Sounds very civilised - always up for a bottle of sangiovese. Must drop in and say g'day sometime. We pass through Orange every now and then and always think of it, but it always seems to be at odd times.

    Cheers,
    Jon
