:twisted:I like the TD5 I've never had any problems as yet (cross fingers) I was assured buy seller that Bolt was checked and re-loctited just in case.
I'm about to blank off the EGR.
And can't wait to rechip it as well.
As to going outback traveling I think pre-checking is the go before going on any such trip.
We are about to return back to Rockhampton from Melbourne and I have to crawl under the girl and check fluid levels and will do a filter oil change when we get there.;)

Don't go knocking Brians "Big Red Rumbler" or it's ruggard truck motor :) It only shakes from happiness because it is never really had to work hard in a Landrover, because it should live in a Nipponese 4-8 tonne truck which in most countries would be loaded with 14-16 tonnes:eek:

My P38A has both AF and metric. The AF sizes are, I believe, limited to the engine.

The Series vehicles have both AF/SAE and BSF :( and the later Series 3's have Metric thrown in :(

and some of the driveline bolts an my '98 Defender are AF/SAE threads.
The studs on the rear output flange on the t/case/hand brake come to mind.
