Everyone is going to make some mistakes, and I don't have a problem with people unintentionally not spelling something correctly, or not having perfect grammar and punctuation. Not everyone here was brilliant at English, I know I sure wasn't!

If someone makes their point the best they can, and it makes sense, I don't see why a huge fuss should be made if a couple of words are misspelt (or should that be misspelled? depends what dictionary you use!)

I do however object when SMS or IM speak occurs. I object even more when 'lol' is actually said in a spoken conversation...

Some think I attack every example of poor spelling on this forum. Crikey - how much spare time do you think I've got!

I don't. If you look at one of our new younger member's appallingly spelled posts you'll find I haven't done so.

I do have a go at teachers who cannot spell.

Generally, I only comment when we can have fun with it. I edit many posts to correct spelling where it affects readability or the outcome of a search. I don't flag these changes.

Anyways i was talking to Doris the other day about how she cleans out her toe jam . She gets the cotton buds and glues them to her chain on her chainsaw . She got into great detail about how she uses chaps and ear muffs as well ! She also said that she has to be careful with the kick back as he has been known to dislocate a toe or 2 .

Doris asked me if i wanted to know what she uses her brush cutter for . I finished my coffee and left !!!

Oh ! this thread is pathetic !!!!!

I worked sixty-eight hours across three jobs this week. I told my mother over dinner, in an attention seeking manner, she looked me dead in the eye and said... "Oh. Just like normal people do..."
