Those who think punctuation isn't important probably won't appreciate this story either.
The writer of a letter to the editor of an Australian national newspaper said that while he would normally not bother to correct the punctuation errors made by the paper he felt that their recent mistake could not go without comment.
He felt sure that when the newspaper described the Qld premier as, "well known peanut farmer, Joh Bjelke-Petersen", they must surely have intended to write, "well known peanut, farmer Joh Bjelke-Petersen".
