Not a lot I can add to this one. As one of the fire investigators I have to keep things pretty close to the chest.

Having said that though I'm nuckin fackered after two days in a row walking all fire edges numerous times to determine the point (or at least area) of origin. More than likely this one will require a court attendance, although luckily I'm not the lead RFS investigator on this one.

Weather conditions were VERY kind to us and there was no way the fire posed any threat to houses this time (rain over the area the previous night) some of the fires self extinguised but the remainder were significant distances from any of the roads/tracks so we made the most of air support.

    Heading for another load

Plenty of rain around us but very little over the fire.

Well spent the day in court today, decision on Thursday.

Then there will be another court date for a second guy.

    Not me.

Not near Waterfall over the weekend, and the only place the defender went was to Caringbah and back on Saturday.

Well done mate. I've been asked a few times to do that course - sorry but you can have it. There's a lot I can deal with - that's definately not one of them. So from someone who has an idea on what you do - well done on the job you are doing!

    Cheers

    Good news all round.
Fire controlled quickly with little damage and best of all 2 people to deal with for starting it.
