    If I can stay in one place long enough. I've been on here (off & on) for a couple of years, as Ian, Ian again and now V8Ian. It all depends on www access. Presently at Amberley, so good deduction.

    I have just finished mounting mine above the vent on the left of the console the suction cup kept letting go pulled the bottom section of the mount and drilled and tapped a hole through the plastic above the vent drilled through two sections of plastic to make it more solid.
    disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
    detriot locker,lsd front,C.D.L kit,chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift,rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

    I use an external antenna mounted on top of the snorkel, this permits me to mount the GPS up near the front cabin light. I find this good as it keeps the windscreen clear and draws less attention to the unit from outside. The external antenna is also useful when trekking in dense forest, where GPS signal is reduced.

    How did you do that?

    Mono-planes & computers, They're beyond me.
