gday juddy, on ebay you can get a attachment for a hayman reese style insert tongue which holds a winch and can be removed when not in use.We used one set up like one pictured on a mates bronco which worked well when you could not access front to pull forward or when any one in convoy doesn't have a winch you wont need to turn around to retrieve the stuck cruiser I mean patrol, well any one that cant keep up anyways. Either way its a great idea to have one at the back for extra insurance if no one else can help.

Well they would be used less often than a front mounted one I;d reckon. Do you have a front mounted winch ? If so why bother with the extra weight. If someone behind you is stuck use a snatch strap to drag em out. If they're stuck worse than that you can probably find somewhere to turn around if you HAVE to.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

So then all one needs is a receiver in their Bullbar to have the ability to swap ends with the winch.
How hard would it be to bolster up a 50mm insert?

It would take some weight off when around town aswell by leavin it at home. Had a quick look for a price and hobzees has them for around $130 bucks and just bolt a winch to it and your set. jay
