    Freighting a gearbox

    Hi all,
thinking about buying a gearbox located at Carlingsford NSW but would need to freight it to Hobart. What would be the best method and what sort of dollars would it cost me.

    Cheers,
    Pete

Get some quotes from furniture removalists. I've twice found them cheaper than couriers but that was mainland to mainland. You'll have to drain the oil and wrap / seal it pretty well though.

Thanks mate. I'm working on some other options but may have to go down that path.
