    plenty highway

Anybody help me with info about the Plenty H/wa--Boulia to Alice springs after the 2009 flood.
I am going to go to Alice during the june / July period. I intend to drive my Disco and a landcruiser. In hope I dont have to wait for him. Those of you who have travelled on this road, is there anything I need to know about it? I intend to visit Lake Eyer on the way back to QLD. Is there a fly over offered by anybody in the marree area as I would love to see the lake from the air. I have never been there before. Any info would be helpfull as I am new to the road to Central Australia and back.
    Thank you
    Colrospeake.

In addition to NM's answer, a flyover of Lake Eyre can be done from William Ck. Contact the William Ck pub.
Not sure about flights from Maree.
