    Same! Used to do a lot of sailing. Used to love sailing to a remote beach somewhere, anchoring off & swimming to shore, exploring, fresh oysters, collecting up & boiling up some winkles, nice fire, noone to be seen ... damn, now you've got me thinking about a little yacht ...

    Used to especially love it when it was really rough, nothing like a good storm to get the adrenalin pumping.

    Yes I saw that doco. I really felt for the kayaker's wife when the police came to tell her that her husband was probably dead.

    I'm acquainted with the kayak builder, he's a really nice bloke. It must have been some, small, consolation to him that they found the kayak still afloat, even though the kayaker was never found.

    Yes, it was extremely moving ... what an amazing attempt. Especially after the first one. It's truly inspiring what some people do.
