I bought that motor nearly 10 years ago now.It was a brand
new 3.9 bottom end,and the high compression.Still have it
and it is the smoothest motor i have ever owned. It revs smooth
from idle and can sit steady at 200rpm. The set up is old school
but for the price i paid it does the job well.Runs straight gas on
a gas research throttle body with a modified dizzy. The dizzy made a
huggggggggggge difference.I will have to post some new footage
of it without the tappet noise. Hopefully in a few months it will be on the track.

By the way twin tubos on the 4.0 litre would work great.Use two off a
GTS-T and an after market computer and it will be awesome. When i build
my next motor it will be injected, running a haltech E6S which i have here already and a lot more boost. It will be interesting to see how much boost
a standard 3.5 low comp motor can take.
