Eagle with camera launched from top of Burj Khalifa in Dubai
This is absolutely spectacular footage.
On Saturday, March 14th, an eagle was fitted with a camera, an "Eaglecam".
and tookflight from the world's tallest building,Burj Khalifa, in Dubai.Here is the film... what surprises me is how smooth theflight is with no camera shake whatsoever.Knowing the camera was there I am sure he took the scenic route. Here is the film... Enjoy...

Reminds me of a story of a friend of mine back in the late 70's he was working as a research assistant, and CT scanners were still relatively new to the medical world, and he was helping in "cutting up " cadavers to photograph for medical anatomy books. The thing was they were carting the cadavers around the city in a freezer truck late at nights to where they would "cut" them up and photograph them. He often wonders what would happen if they were ever stopped by the police.
