prep-sol is a pre paint cleaning solvent.
It would probably remove any remaining adhesive, and will be fine on your paint.
Wether it would remove the stickers or not I am unsure...
A quick search here on removing stickers got me some info about using a hairdryer to make the glue soft, but then a subsequent post said it would cause the paint to crack (Can it be worse than extreme sunlight??).
Anyone had success with chemicals to get them off?
I am thinking paint thinners because I have a 4L tin of this, but perhaps might not be so good for the paintwork...
Something in the back on my brain is saying "PrepSol", what ever that may be
Thanks
David

I used the hairdryer on the Defe and all is OK
Hmmm: PrepSol + Hairdryer. They might be gone in a flash!
Hairdryer is the go but be aware that the paint under the sticker might not match the surrounding paint.
The rest of the car has been in the sun for a few years.

That's what the dealer said. They were supposed to remove the sticker before I picked it up, but the workshop manager said they didn't want to be responsible for any damage/etc pulling it off.
A good buff with some cut-and-polish should blend it in though.
Be a lot less noticable than the Xtreme sticker anyway.
I just pulled my stickers off without any dramas. No hair dryer or chemicals no marks.
Cheers
When I first got mine, I was working at a winery in the hills. One of the things we use to clean and sanitize stuff is a diesel- Karcher water blaster, with a temperature control.
I set the temperature at about 120 deg. and the pressure slightly below full. I blasted them for a while with very hot water/steam. They peeled right off leaving only the tiniest residue. I sorted that out with some stuff that I had distilled but was not up to scratch. You could use metho if you don't have a still!
This worked a treat and there was nothing remaining. The stickers peeled off in one piece. I would post pics but the car was destroyed...

yep, use a hair dryer or a heat gun. it softens the decal and the glue, allowing you to peel it off easier.
you can also use orange oil to remove the glue, it dissolves the glue and then washes off.
get some AutoGlym paint restorer (which is basically a fine rubbing compound) and give the whole panel a go over, then follow that with some Super Resin Polish by the same mob and it will look as good as new.
after you've done the one panel, you will probably want to do the rest.
