Two more reliable road burner's,the 197cc Hunslet Scootacar and the 350cc AC Petite better than a Cobra of later years! I can smell the two stoke from hear.

I wonder how my 31 year old series 3 would stack up against a similar age Holden, Ford or Toyota? (if you could find one!)

My father's 1967 HR holden special (which he bought in 1970 and made it work hard for a living its whole life) was equal in reliability to my 1968 IIA. (yes I know n = 2...)

Honda is always near the top and LR is usually near the bottom of most reliability surveys, regardless of the methodology.

The Zeta Sports has to be up there with the worst cars ever built. I drove one from Adelaide to the top of Mount Lofty and back in the mid sixties. Flat out down hill on the then highway it reached about 70 mph, but was floating so much that steering and braking was almost negligible. Selecting reverse was a major feat. Getting it started was almost as bad. They were noisy, smelly, wet, uncomfortable and very unreliable.

As a commercial vehicle, wasn't it restricted to the 20mph speed limit?
As for the forward but not back class of licence/vehicle, it likely stemed from the days of motorbikes with a chair.

Quick Draw McGoogle, can you locate any pictures of a Rytecraft Scootercar? Early ones had a 98cc Villiers, later fitted with a neck snapping 250cc, of the same manufacture. Why haven't Grockle or Coop mentioned this?
