This is incorrect. You can get your HC after having MR for 12 months. I got my MR about 5 years ago and after one year got my HC..

I second you mate,in what you said........Brien must be in one of his moods,.........I,ve been driving interstate for 38 years,and have a MC license,I did my tests easy ,for all my licenses (to-day its a lot harder) I got my HR license in longreach 1967,police in them days did the testing,same with my HC,got that the same way in 1970..........my MC I got after driving road trains,with another driver,you have to do a minim of 50 hours with a MC licensed driver,got that in a week........It was hard pulling three trailers,at first.........now I find it easy;)
