    It was the older models that required a transformer.

    I'm an engle man myself but if I was to buy something other than an engle I would probably get an ARB fridge.

    Have checked them out and was very impressed with them.

    It looks to me to be a bit more like the "I have Mandriva installed on my computer. I can't understand why everyone recommends Ubuntu " sort of thread.

    been running mine every day for about 5 years, never missed a beat, only trouble i've ever had was when someone switched it to emergency mode and froze my beer. For me the emergency thing is good, if i'm camping and its hot, atleast i know i can keep my insulin refridgerated.
