I agree, the cheats deserved to be thrown out and the winning results did go to the first team that earnt 1st place. If you cant play by the rules, then don't turn up.

Well, hopefully the Holdens will have a big win on Sunday. Shame I wont be watching it.

The old man and I will be watching something bigger.

Sadly, as much as love the V8 class I also have to admit that its the domestic king of the also rans class.

We'll be watching the FIA/CIK Kart World Championships in Macau this weekend. This is where the real stars are found and the racing is hot. 1 year after I watched Jarno Trulli at the Oceania's he was sitting in a F1. Likewise many of the other F1 names such as Fisichella, Button etc. Hopefully we can get some happy snaps of the stars before they hit the big time!

Tip: watch James Courteney, especially if he hangs around in V8's! I've been watching his racing since he was a junior in about 1995. He is by faaaaaaaar the best driver in that field, and the only person that may rival him is Mark Winterbottom. Bathurst isn't as hot as the sprints, so hopefully he wont bin it into the wall. There are a heap of younger gen drivers that have all been racing together since they were kiddies, and none of them have the speed to match.
    Cheers

Then why run illegal wheel arches in the first place ? Had to be something in it ?

Most people are ****ed off with brocky because he drove a holden and not a ford . The Ford mob only had Dick " I'm a whingeing sook " Johnson . That also tried out in a holden and was still crap !

I reckon Ford has a 50% chance of winning, it also has a 50% chance of losing

Holden vs. Ford. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Boring. I used to sit myself in front of the TV all day back when Bathurst was interesting. Aside from the Holdens and Fords there were Valiants, Chev Comaros, Jaguar XJS, Nissan whatevers, Volvos, BMWs, Mazda RX7s. Those were the days. Now I couldn't give a toss. But if they opened it up again to other manufacturers I'd be watching.
