I've been Bricklaying since I left school. Best bit about my job is being able to sit back at the end of a day and know that the majority wouldn't be able to do what I just did. (Just reminded me of when I was an apprentice, We had just finished a big feature wall which was quite tricky, my boss took a leak on the wall and asked me "Do you know what the difference is between a Brickie and a Doctor? A Doctor can't **** on his work when he finishes it!! )

I've meet some great people from around the world, people that I will always remember even if I never see them again and some great mates that one day I will eventually catch up with.

Interesting question! Atm I'm renovating the house, going on hols, then packing up n moving to the top-end. Somewhere in between I do stuff for my old-man.

I love 'my job' for the fact that I do what I want whenever I want, see immediate results, don;t answer to anybody, and have a lot of fun. I get to finish the house off, get a tan n a work-out, plus enjoy my days work all to myself, nobody else's. :P

Yes it's a luxurious position, but like anything there's always catches

Best thing about my job is the People I work with, the work itself can be tad boring , I'm also a shift worker, there is plenty of opportunity to swap shifts with others at work, I too can't handle working late , 20 years of service award coming up in Feb.

If Rino would give me AWM pricing and they had a decent variety of stock, i'd use L&H as my main wholesaler, but it all comes down to the dollar for me

Best thing: Warm as toast in winter....no worries at all!

Worst thing: Sweating my nut sack off in summer.......way to hot!

    My occupation? Glassblower.
