Visited my first farm on a farmstay when I was 2 and wanted to be a farmer ever since. Bought my first sheep when I was 14, started working part-time as a jackaroo when I was 16, been the studmaster on a poll dorset sheep stud since I was 18 and I'm now 21. Still love it, its more of a lifestyle than a job and its something new everyday. Has its ups and downs but doesn't everything?

fighter pilot, never made it, never finished private pilots license but have flown more a/c types including helicopters than most people. I've just been so lucky with my friends who have given me opportunity to fly things. the list is huge.

    Not quite grown up yet...

What did I want to do when I left school? Had the desire to work in the bush and, cracked a job as bull dozer operator. Couldn't keep it though, as I didn't have a car, by which I could get myself to work each day. Went to the good old Commonwealth Bank to ask for a personal loan of....$2000! No.....your employment is too uncertain! Joined the Army...and then, the rest is here:

Always liked working out how things worked, taking things apart to fix them. Discovered electronics and that lead to engineering. Still at it although now I look after a bunch of engineers.

Always wanted to fly, after 2 trades (fitter/machinist & toolmaker) and other stuff like marriage and kids, I finally did it.

I feel truly blessed to be doing what I always wanted and enjoying it.
The sounds, smells and forces still give me tingles like a schoolboy (Ive been known to giggle like a schoolgirl).

Love it and cant imagine doing anything else away from aircraft.

    cheers

Yea, I wish I never wanted to do anything, unfortunately, smoking...later taking drugs, and having an active mind lead to doing some distasteful things

Why is argueing with an engineer, like rolling in the mud with a pig?

Cause after a few hours, you realise he enjoys it
