    baby bonus

    hey guys

    my wife and i are expecting soon, im just wondering if the baby bonus is means tested. And when do we apply for it. Does it come in installments, or in a lump sum

    mate after the bubs born and afaik it is now and it now comes in instalments ...

    thanks, well i've looked at the centrelink website, it seems a little vauge, hence im seeing what ppl on here have seen/heard/experienced

    whats the maximum i can earn per year before we are not entitled to the baby bonus (sole income family)

    Combined income limit of 150k. I can't be bothered working out whether that is before or after the baby Baby Bonus.

    The correct name for it is the "Big screen TV bonus". I always laugh how the sales people at Harvey Norman and the like make a beeline for the parents with a new baby in the pram. They're cashed up and ready to go.

    The last $900 payout for families by the KRrudderment resulted in a lot of "specials" - 4 mag wheels and tyres for $900. What a coincidence !
