VB is beer? My late father-in-law referred to all Carlton & United products as "Surfside Sex".

Foxes, rabbits, prickly pear, and Kiwis. At least they can't arrive here and go on the dole like once was the case.

It would be interesting to have a survey of holders of NZ passports residing in Oz, who were refused immigration to Australia as not meeting our required standard, but got the far easier NZ citizenship and then came here with their NZ passport. Came across a few of these in my DSS days.

In reading that article it looks like you need more Kiwi's to come here, they are upping the statistics on education and employment, they seem to be contributing more to Australia than Australians..

yep, and I'll be along shortly if the part time work here continues in current hours and pay rate! I have a brother in Kingscliff (almost Queensland), and I have had other siblings live in Coolangatta, Heron Island and Mission Beach so the stats are correct in that. I'd be aiming for somewhere cooler and less crowded than Queensland i think if options are available.

I have yet to reside in Australia so I wonder if that makes me an icon here in NZ... it certainly makes me unusual in my immediate and wider family...

skills obviously better matched to some areas than others....

EG: at the moment we dont need any high rise window cleaners in the riverland
