I'd say the best place would be Projects and Tutorials - thats where I put Gus!
I guess if you can't afford full rego on an occasional vehicle, the original plates could go "missing" prior to transferring to historic Rego...
The plate format has changed for NSW now so they wouldn't be re-issued. You could just bolt them on for shows much like I do with fake ARN plates on Ambrose.



 As will be rarely driven. I cant seem to get any exceptions other than a historical rego and lose the plates of leave them on another vehicle. I'll have to have a hard think about this.
