You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Thanks chaps

All going well this Friday is going to be Rego day!!

Haven't got much more to do.. just an exhaust, bolt the safari roof on, drop the rims in to have the tires refitted and a few other small jobs.

Will post some pic's when it has those rego plates on......

    Cheers

Well after all the blood sweet and [a few] tears and many beers, today was the big day
The first drive on the road was down to the mechanics for the big check over .........passed with flying colors then it was a quick drive to the insurance office payed that.... then it was off to pay the Rego and pick up the plates On the way i was thinking this is going well! just then the loud pedal fell to the floor!!! doh!!! ........brokin cable
So was stuck on the side of the road for a couple of hours while this small problem was fixed.

After picking up the plates it was time for a better drive!!
Very happy the way she drives with more than enough power from the 186
Still have a few jobs to complete in good time.

For any body who is thinking about rebuilding a Landrover.....Go for it!!
This has been a great project and i have already started think about the next one!!

Just a couple of things to remember

    1. What you estimate in the time it's going to take .... Times it by 3

    2. And what you estimate for the cost ...Times it by 3

Anyway here's a few pic's or so if anybody comes over this way stop and say gidday!

Neil, she looks great mate! Brilliant job. I am very envious of that tropical roof, too. Still trying to find one.

I'm looking forward to hearing about how her sea trials go.
