I have thought about the Supaglue idea but I'm worried that my caffeine induced hand shake will have the glue everywhere but where I want it.

I think if I can get the little panel with the plug hole & controls on it out (without damage) it will be simple enough to get the plug end out. Though it is a Land Rover.

Can you get some sort of wireless headphones that are usable with the factory RSE system? Where would they plug in? Would they need separate power? Who sells them?
Wirless would be much, much better, the head phones have long cords that get tangled & caught around stuff. Yes, wireless would be good if I can get it.
And I won't have to fix this little problem till I can get Land Rover to do it.

PS The child is still alive for now. 5 year old's sure can run when they need to. I will get him eventually.

I find a high velocity tennis/base/cricket/snooker ball aimed carefully slows them substantially...

And the statement of reason doesnt apply to the cross wired brains of youth... Catalyst: Teen Brain - ABC TV Science
Child (in this case Teen) brains arent running the same..
They certainly grasp a decent smack though!

    Jonesfarm,
From memory these are the controls/plug that sit in front of the cubby box below the cargo area window in the 3rd row.
    If so..
This panel lifts out from memory & you may be able to remove the socket from the plug &/or get better access to it so you can remove it.

Cordless phones can be brought from any radio installer type place from $60-$200 depending on brand etc.
Maybe even try e-bay & buy 1 to make sure it works then buy what u need later.

    HTH

    Ceers.
