    Well, with a title like that, I couldn't help but read it.

    Your wife is a smart woman. She used the "Power of Distraction" (see Wifely Manual Section 3, Part 9 - the 3rd edition by the way). When you don't have time to do something, distract your man onto a different topic. It has been demonstrated through numerous studies (peer reviewed, of course) that men cannot multi-task. Hence you momentarily forgot about the coffee and she wandered off to get on to manage the myriad of balls she currently had in the air .

    And not only that, you then made her the cup of coffee! Priceless! Maybe she wrote the manual!!?

    Congratulations GeorgeK. 30 years must be something of a record these days. Defintely something worth celebrating!

    Multi-tasking! I believe it was Billy Connolly who wanted to know why it is that if women are supposed to be so good at multi-tasking, how come they can't have sex and a headache at the same time.
