Awww, Robbo, don't be shirty. If you have a Disco, I'm sure you're not a normal volvo driver . You are most welcome to comment. This is, afterall a forum about Disco's.

The signature was just alluding to an recent experience at the Landrover service centre where someone backed the Regional Director's Volvo into my Disco and broke my numberplate frame. (I've since been told he did over $2,000 damage to the Volvo's back bumper so I reckon I got off lightly, LOL.)

I'll go and take it off now anyway, it's old news.

No worries, i'm cool. Have a look at my pictures in the gallery for pics of my Landy and Volvo 1800. In my D2, the extinguisher is in the rear of the car on the left up on the pillar. If it is a powder type, don't forget to give it a tap with a rubber mallet every now and then as the powder inside binds up. Cheers.
    Regards
    Robbo

Thankyou. Yes, the 1800 sure turns heads and I love it. Everything you could want in a car, just like a Landy but a bit more reliable!!!. There is one in America that holds the Guiness book of records title of "the highest milage car" its a '66 model with nearly 3 million miles on the clock. Original engine, rebuilt twice. 1.8L B18B twin S.U's. Mine is a '69 B20B 2.0L twin Strombergs (same as on original Rangie) PS: What you think of my Disco?. I love it too despite its "querks"
    Regards
    Robbo.

I just put mine in the bottle holder in the bottom of the rear door's with an old dark grey sock over it to stop scuffing and match the grey door lining.
