That sucks. Recommend getting a Stone Stomper. Too late for this trip but well worth it.

After searching for the right car for a few weeks i came across this beauty just 10mins from home, MY08 TDV6 SE in Stornaway grey with black interior.
This is a credit to the previous single owner ( thanks Ross ) and is as clean as you could want for a used vehicle, 141k on the clock with all the maintenance done including steel trans pan and flush.
I had to duck out to get lunch just so i could drive it again before home time [bigsmile1].
Looks good!
Havent post for a while. Almost 2 years with this beauty!

Hi everyone.
My name is Ashley, and I live in Dunedin, New Zealand.
As well as an old RR classic, I have had 5 D1 & D2s. Today, I just picked up my lovely D4.

2010 5.0 V8, with only 40,000 kms on the clock. It was imported from Japan (very common here) and it is absolutely mint. The colour is Bourneville - looks black in most light but has a purple tinge in the sun. Absolute love the vehicle, it's basically as new.
The photo is taken in the showroom at pick up at lunch time - won't look that way for long as I am off on a trip tonight!
I'm not a hard core off roader or an overlander, so I won't be going in for much in the way of modifications. However, I do venture off the beaten track to pursue my photography hobby, so I definitely appreciate this being fitted with Cooper M&S tyres!
Having looked around the forum, I can see this will be a great source of knowledge to me in the future. I'll post a few photos along the way of the D4 out and about in our lovely little country.
Cheers! [smilebigeye]
(OK, so I worked out how to show a photo full size from a sharing site, but it seems I can't work out how to get rid of the old thumbnail. Sorry!)
Welcome.
Looks good 😊
Yes please, take plenty of pics whilst out and about, and I'm sure there'll be some awesome backdrops in them,,, an extra bonus for those of us who haven't yet ventured over there. 😁
That's a lovely colour but pictures don't do it justice and nor does having it covered in dirt - personal experience!
