Rocky Plains Camp Snowy Mountains.
Apparently this Camp Site isn't suitable for Caravans?

Had a pleasant day out yesterday in the NSW Southern Highlands - the wife (egged on by our accompanying jeepnik friend) took a water crossing with a bit too much right foot ... result ... she got to spend 20 minutes digging around in the muddy water to recover the front plate !
A second set of screws in the bottom of the plate would sort that from happening again!
Drove through a raging river in the Kinglake area yesterday... my wife commented how lucky we were to have the RAI fitted...

This is my first excursion into the land of LRs:
- Disco4 HSE Black
- Black trim
- 20" Rims
- Tinted windows
- Electronic Rust proofing & paint protection
LR - NEW.jpg
and I am gradually setting it up for touring:
- Long Range Tank
- Rear wheel carrier
- Snorkel
- Rook Racks
LR - twin2.JPG
Our first trip was to Condamine Gorge (Qld):

We also recently explored around the Blue Mountains:

So far, so good - I love it !
Our much loved Range Rover left us many years ago and after a series of Japanese dual cabs out of necessity we have just bought a 2007 Discovery 3 HSE with the diesel V6 It is lovely to be back in a Land Rover again.
The first photo shows our newly purchased HSE and the second is our Range Rover arriving just a little too late at Awinya Creek circa 1990.
