Here are some images of the new D4. Bought to tow the van so have added that in as it is more or less stock standard at the moment. In couple of years will be looking for the Gibb River Road. My 1st photo post so hopefully I get it right. Cheers Craig
First run with the new caravan. Only a short one for a weekender to test everything out and it went like a dream. Disco loved it, kids loved it and we can't wait for the next one.
As you can see from the pics we'd be lost without the Mitch Hitch, it is up really high to tow level, but still just clears the tailgate when dropped with the van attached (Hyland hitch).
Photos from our recent trip to Cape York and Outback Queensland with camper trailer. 7380km.
Not huge by comparison to some I've read on here but an epic first "big trip" for us.
I have written a Trip Report for anyone interested in more detail of where we went etc.

A tame section of the OTT (didn't do whole thing)
The D4 was flawless with no vehicle or tyre issues to report.
Cheers,

Weekend holiday with mates at Hat Head, first time on the beach and the D4 was brilliant, loved every moment. Even with not letting the tires down (good sand conditions) it went great. Big thanks to all the hints on the forum, sand mode and DSC off!!, it went like a freight train, unstoppable!Attachment 98787
