Very Happy to have my first Landrover after a lot of looking we found the right one.
Black Disco 4 Hse 2011 low ks only 60,000 on clock beautiful drive now I just have to wait till weekends to get it off the wife.

Trying to push for a beach drive next weekend but I have to work on the wife for that one .The first answer was not with my beautiful car your not.

I said but it deserves it.

Anyway here it is very happy to have the

6mm Rubber they use for truck mudflaps.Comes from Clark Rubber.

I can't see too well in the pic.... have you just cut them to the required shape and screwed them on? Looks tidier than that sounds!

Bacically yes.Quite a simple job.others have used Defender flaps.

I was asked by an administrator to provide an update of what the vehicle looks like now after I had it fitted with some of the accessories. So here goes.
OL bullbar for the D4 (it was the first in Australia!)
"Long Range" 110 ltr fuel tank
OL wheel carrier
215mm 96w LED 10-36 spot beam
215mm 96W 10-36 Combi beam
Axis reversing/rear view camera with monitor mounted on dash.

Looking good - I love that colour. But I think it definitely needs a dark window tint now to set it all off.

Pity they still supply that bloody horrible square tail light with those wheel carriers (it's an "Outback Accessories" wheel carrier, made in WA). You'll find that the light globes fitted in it don't last too long, especially if you do any distance on corrugated dirt roads. I think I blew the first globe at about three weeks. :angrylock:

I very quickly replaced the tail light assembly with a round LED arrangement from LED Industries - matches the D4 tail lights a lot better than the square thing, and you will never have to worry about blown globes. :D

Got to agree Brian,that is a very nice red.
A bit hard for the non D4 owners to call that an appliance.Then again I bet Smeg do red fridges:):):):):):):):):):)
