Roof rack is Chinese made from an Ebay 4wd store in Campbellfield, had to make up and modify the mounts to suit the Rhino rails, so far all is good and I can take it off once home, unplug the spotties and UHF antenna and the car looks stock standard Toorak Tractor, just buffing out the scratches poses a problem. Have just had a great weekend around The Lost Plain with LROCV, snow was awesome.

I have the same rack - bought from Tigrez - I also have Rhino rails but have my rack bolted to Rhino Crossbars as the original mounts were made to fit genuine rails. If possible would you mind putting up a pic of your mounts. Where have you run power for your lights from?

    Awesome! Thanks Kingo.
Me and a mate with his Amarok went for a drive around Toolangi and Narbethong a couple of weeks ago after a week of rain and wind. There were trees down across the tracks all over the place. I subsequently now have lots of added pin-stripes.
Currently looking for the best polish to buff the stripes out with

Its the first model Kev, a MY10, a one owner that only had 59k on the clock, it also had a full service history. Basically its like new inside and out, the only bad thing was it had completely bald tyres that were also almost flat as it had been sitting in a under ground car park for months believe it or not.

Our original idea was to buy one for touring and for Gloria to use a bit for going off road, but the only thing is it is that nice it almost seams like a crime to be taking it off road at all. Oh well the first decent scratch will get me over that reluctance.

    Excellent buy.

You can drive off-road and still look after the vehicle. I had a few good scratches on my MY10 when I sold it, which was a PITA when people kept using that to wrangle the price down, but all of those were due to bad luck or accidents (like the sand covered Kayak that slipped out of my hands and went down the side of the car :-(). But all in all, the car was in very good nick for a 4wd that had been off the bitumen a fair bit and was over 4.5 years old.

    You know you'll enjoy mate.

Terry, I think you need to attach a go pro to your bonnet, go for a fang and then post the sound track ... you know ... for science

I remember when I used to be wary of mine when it was much younger ... very liberating once it has it's first minor marks ... anyway silver is an easy to maintain colour. And how are you adjusting to the new cupholder position ?
