I am getting my windows tinted next week and I was told that they have to use a non metalic film for the sides and rear to make sure it doesn't interfere with whatever those strips do.

Antenna, FM and TV depending on model.

fast facts whilst on LR Experience self drive and factory tour
* lasts from 9-4pm and is approx 2hrs north of London in Solihull
* you get a chance to drive with a guide for approx 2hrs through jungle track
* Solihull (Tata) has invested 1B pounds in the facility including huge press and newer buildings to replace older buildings including car parking available for staff
* Solihull recieves 1000 truck loads of parts each day to the factory
* DHL transport all parts to site, with hefty fines if unable to deliver on time.
* on one occassion DHL rather then pay the fine to LR for late parts, it was cheaper to helicopter parts to the site due to delays then face the fine
* there are 3 tracks including jungle track onsite which i drove on the day
* press machine needed its own concrete thick footing to avoid self destructing such is the force of the machine pressing out body panels mostly done by robots
* cabling for LR vehicles is heated prior to installation to prevent cable conduits from splitting open
* after each drive through jungle track guide have to wash cars clean for next run sometimes washing vehicles twice per day

Installed K9 ladder this morning.
For what should be a simple install was a real bitch.
Getting the bottom bolts thru far enough to get a nut started was not so easy.
Also put 4 layers of film over half the inner parking sensors due to Mitch Hitch making sensors go off.
Seems to have worked, one layer not enough.
