I heard it asked, was she learning to be an Astronaut.
You mean this one?
Basil135 preparing for re entry...
The more observant of you will notice the star picket holding the bunting up is clearly visible under the left front wheel. This would indicate the vehicle is in the appropriate position for an impending take off ... or landing...

Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
The fella in front of me should have got a better shot

George's Crossing but too cool to dip the toes in the water.

4500kms down. 3000 still left to go!
Photo taken the other night at the end of the Karunjie Track after a long days drive including making new tracks from scratch, being the first ones through after the wet.
Just finished driving the Gibb including Mitchell Falls. Left Mt. Barnett this morning and just parked up at 80 mile beach after detouring to Derby to restock and a couple of gorges.
Rounding off the list.
Tanami to Wolfe Creek. Tick
Karunjie Track. Tick
GRR. Tick
Now the dull but comfy drive home!
D4 has been faultless all the way, zero tyre problems.
The turn off to Mitchell Falls beyond is a horrible drive, in no way technical just slow and painful for vehicles, took us 2 hours to do the 80kms. I'd recommend stopping at Drysdale and chopper the rest.
Found out the other night at Home Valley the poor bugger who helped us out getting across the Karunjie now has his old Cruiser sitting nose first in the Pentecost. Apparently the dog knocked it in to gear and splash, gone.
Be aware cars aren't easily recoverable from this mud, it's like quick sand. Do not attempt the Karunjie without a group! And be well prepared!

Out at Condinup (East of Esperance) at Easter.

I've made version 2 of rear floor this weekend.
Added some baffles underneath to stop things moving forward under 2nd row seats.
I've rearranged hatches for better use and flexibility.
I also added 2 tie down rails for more flexibility.
Also black carpet this time ties in with original.
Cheers Vin
