Are these globes not to bright? Do i order the Red for stop/tail and obviously clear for reverse. How hard is it to install the resistor or do they sell globes with resisitors built in now?

Resistors are all built in just take incandescent globe out and put LED type in and no get white not red, the red ones will not be as bright. I have just ordered two more for around $12 delivered for two.

Not to bright and nothing to do apart from buying them and plugging them in.

The reversing lights are MUCH better in the LED!

Morning all, D3 MY07, Have blown 3 brake lights in the 40K that I have owned this vehicle, never had a warning or problem till some kind sole told me that I had a globe out.
Ordered a set of these as recommended above Pure white 1157 27 5050 SMD LED Car Brake Tail Turn Light lamp Bulb 270LM [/IMG]12V Free Shipping! - US$5.38

Fitted them yesterday when another standard globe blew, no problems all work.
Drove down to Cairns - 60klms - all fine, went to come home turned on lights and "bong" -"transmission fault, hdc disabled, suspention lowered "
Your kidding ! turned off waited started again no difference.
Turned off, turned off lights, restarted all fine moved off no probs, turned on lights and off we went again, decided it was the new globes so drove home - interesting with suspension lowered certainly handled well on the range road. It was on access height not the stops.

Any sugestions other than using normal globes and carrying spares ?

    DD
P.S. edit : photo 2 posts down, had no manual transmission control either, worked fine in Drive but no sport mode or gear control.
