Only added the LED to Brake/tail lights. No resistor needed and working perfectly in the 2009 as they did in my 2005 D3.

I am going to update the rest including blinkers which do need the resistors.

Does the reverse need resistors? I need to change mine so thinking of using LEDs.

Several years ago I ran into problems with LED replacement globes then SWMBO broke a tail light unit and I found it much cheaper to get two complete after market D4 LED units than one single genuine D3 unit. I added the required resistor to each unit and haven't had any trouble since. I think the total cost was around $450-500

I purchased the D4 rear light assembly for my D3 from "Powerful UK" and they work well.
Have a problem with posting picture to show what they look like

I had LED in my reverse lights in the 2005. Loved them. Much brighter for reversing at night and no resistors needed.
