    thanks
it is sweet looking. it is not mine. !
I found it when looking through the link (and subsequent links) from the post before mine by 'bbyer'

In that link ARB USA write on facebook the testing and prototypes are looking good for production in a month or so. That comment was dated around mid February from memory, and that is in the US.

Well...it has been a bit disappointing for me really. I ordered my ARB bar 7 weeks ago and have now been told it is at least another 9 weeks away to actually getting fitted. That has buggered my plans, so I've since been to see OL and snagged the 'last one' in stock. I'll be cancelling and getting refund from the other mob.

I'm pleased with the outcome and kind of wish I went with the OL crew from the off. Guess I was just being a repeat customer to ARB and didn't 'trust a change'.

    Lesson learnt for me.

    Ozzy,
Be really interested to see how OL in Cairns do with the fitting of your bar. My OL one (fitted in Melbourne) is going back for the third time for them to try and make it look a bit better. They have cut the flares crooked (so not parallel with the bar) and also the gap is massive in some places at over 20mm.
Looking at the car in profile it looks crap at the moment. see pics.
They tell me that the gap is that big because they have had a couple of customers who have had broken lights and flares after driving on rough and corrugated roads. I just did a Flinders Ranges trip and I can honestly say that the bar hardly moves as opposed to the one on an accompanying Hilux which looked like it was about to shake itself apart.

Some pics of yours would be good.

Jeez discojools that doesn't sound comforting at all!!!

Obviously I hope they do a good job. That picture you have posted looks like a shot from the front with the rubber space filler adaption OL use to reduce the gap? If so, I'm surprised it differs in gap size as surely no cutting is need there. The bar just slides straight on and should be parrallel to the front.

Cutting the side wheel flares wonky isn't good though.

Have seen Discojools bar and it aint pretty.

Just measured mine in the same place as Jools photo. Mine is barely 10mm wheras his is 20+ mm.

Same bar fitted at the same place???????????????

    Cheers, Craig
